Know Those That Knock On Your Door

It is very important to know those who knock on your door.  During a 2015 Jehovah’s Witness broadcast, a streamed TV show that promotes Witness propaganda, Anthony Morris III, a member of the Governing Body  of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a supposed anointed Christian who will be among the 144,000 people who will be the only individuals resurrected into heaven, had this to say about higher education.  “Has the Governing Body changed its position regarding the pursuit of higher secular education?  No.  We feel that all of the cautions that we have addressed in the past are still valid.  However, our goal now is the focus on and intensify our promotion of the pursuit of divine education.  If parents and young ones are motivated to avidly pursue divine education, the quest for higher secular education becomes less and less of an issue.  The cost of obtaining university training is not our primary concern.  It is the potential for spiritual harm that has moved us to provide the cautions we have shared in the past.  All too often, our young people have met with spiritual disaster, especially after leaving home and living on a university campus.  So, parents and children?  You need to have a goal and you need to have a plan.  If you are missing either one, Satan will provide it for you.  Young people.  Ask yourself.  Why am I considering additional education?  Is it because I am pursuing a specific skill or trade to support my service to Jehovah or have I been pressured by the system into believing that higher education will somehow make me a more respected person or lead me to a better life?  If we are in continued association with those who do not believe the same, it can erode our thinking and convictions.  Some have felt that spending time with non-believers in a university setting is no different than working secularly with those who do not share our beliefs.  It is one thing to work on a job with others and quite another matter to immerse oneself in an institution of learning!  We are to be careful that this system does not mold or shape our thinking.  Higher education can easily influence thinking and attitudes.  When we make a decision, we must realistically also accept the consequences.  If we should be that careful about our association inside the congregation, the application is even more appropriate when it comes to institutions of secular learning!  I have long said, the better the university the greater the danger.  The most intelligent and eloquent professors will be trying to reshape the thinking of your child.  One mom I recalled, asked me to try and help her son who was attending a prestigious named university in Rhode Island.  After visiting him, I later had to inform her that her son now believed in evolution.  She refused to believe it until he finally told her himself.  How sad.  Ultimately the parents must decide how much education a child needs to succeed in life.  But does that mean that any decision that a parent makes in a child’s education is fine with Jehovah?  Here Jehovah guarantees that one day, every person on earth will be a true worshiper of him.  Will you be there?  Will your son or daughter be among those alive at that time?  Do your personal decisions matter?  Yes.  So then, each of us will render an account for himself to God.  Yes, we all will have to answer to Jehovah for the decisions we make today.  May we all decide to play it safe before our God?  Think of all of the opportunities there are now to enjoy divine education; congregation meetings, family worship, assemblies and conventions, the JW.org website and the station you are watching right now.   In addition to providing divine education, what secular skills will we be promoting?  Skills that will be useful to Gods organization now and after Armageddon.  For example, we need construction skills around the world right now!  And think about this.  We will not need doctors and lawyers after Armageddon, but we will need carpenters and plumbers and similar construction trades!  It requires faith to decline higher education and have the confidence that our material needs will be cared for by training in other fields of employment.”

The Great Flood & The Animals

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. – Genesis 7:4.

If God initiated the flood because man was wicked, why did he have to kill off all the animals, creatures that did not sin?  What did the animals do to deserve this punishment, the extinguishing of their lives?  Why God?

A Fearful God

Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar[b] and settled there.

They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building.  The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.  Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” – Genesis 11:1-7

What was God afraid of?  What did he think the people of Babel would or could do?  Why did God say that nothing would be impossible for them to accomplish?  Why was an omnipotent being like God afraid of humans?

The Rate Of Death – No Intervention By God

Nearly two people die each second, according to http://www.ecology.com/birth-death-rates/.  Take a minute to contemplate that fact.  Let that idea marinate in your minds.  By the time you finish reading this sentence, approximately 16 people would have died either because of murder, suicide, an accident, disease, natural causes, or other reasons.  If this is too surreal to comprehend, please go to http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ and watch the “Deaths Today” ticker.  It is quite sobering to see the number of deaths that occur every second.  After viewing the ticker for some time, contemplate on why this is happening, if you subscribe to the biblical creation account.  This constant torrent of death is occurring simply because a couple of people disobeyed God and ate from the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  According to the Bible, the simple disobedience by earths primary couple is responsible for the approximately 100 billion who have died since the beginning of time.  Is this a justifiable punishment for people who are not responsible for the first couple’s non-compliance?  Is it moral to in essence kill billions because of our primal progenitors’ godly insubordination?  Is it not more moral and understanding to think that these deaths happen because this is what occurs in evolution?  Please comment below!

Growing Up Jehovah’s Witness

Letter to Myself,

I have heard that you have decided to disassociate yourself from the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  I can sympathize with your feelings and understand the hurt you are currently coping with since I myself am a disfellowshipped brother from the same congregation.  I was indoctrinated into the religion since birth so I am cognizant of the internal pathos the splitting of families may actualize.  I say that this action separates loved ones because that is the intended purpose of shunning.  If not, this weapon would have no teeth.  The sharpness of its actions would have no barbed effect.  Smooth intentions lead to gentle outcomes, and that is not the outcome that is intended.  The harshness of this compulsory engagement is required to turn people back towards the “truth.”  However, what if this religion is not the truth?  Are you willing to stake your future life in a faith that you cannot without certainty declare as true?

How can you avoid the pain of shunning from others?  Tertullian once said that “The pleasure of those who injure you lies in your pain. Therefore, they will suffer if you take away their pleasure by not feeling pain.”

Shun them first, and you will have severed the connection you have with the congregation, a group of people who only have their self-interests in mind or maybe care for you but are in the same situation that you are.  They may doubt as well, but their bonds with their families are stronger than their will to be set free.  Losing your loved ones can be difficult but owning the one life you have is eternally more valuable, satisfying and a much more successful way of living.

Do not listen to the members of the congregation.  They are masters of portents and smooth speech.  They are sly speakers that only are able to deploy false rhetoric to keep you captive in the Jehovah’s Witness cult.  You never know who the wolves are until they show you their teeth and by that time, it is too late.

The Alternative Facts Of The BIble

Excerpt from “The True Nature Of Human Nature”

‘The true reality has now been circumscribed, the line in the sand drawn. In the end, we should not look for our destiny in dusty old texts.  The late and great Carl Sagan said it best.  ‘We’re made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.’  Never should we allow ourselves to be controlled by this parasitic infection. Feed it the antidote of knowledge and critical thinking.  The heavens do not contain a God.  We should find our consolations in the constellations.”

What Does Doomsday Say About Religious Zealots And Other Religions?

jesus moon.jpgCountdown to death.  Soon the end will be upon us.

“Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” – Matthew 24:29

Today, September the 30th, a rare Black Moon* will be in full majesty in our skies (unless you live in New Jersey, where all you will see is clouds) but this comes after another celestial phenomenon*.

On the first of September a rare solar eclipse dubbed the “ring of fire”, an eclipse that occurs above Africa which leaves only the thick edge of the sun exposed, occurred as depicted below.

This double phenomenon has significant implication to religious zealots and run of the mill nutbags.  These are the celestial observances that the aforementioned scripture depicts.  More about this in my upcoming book.  This shows that all religions, at least monotheistic ones, look forward to the end of the world.  They want the apocalypse to come and the wanton destruction that it implies.

Just further validation that religion needs to be abolished.  We need to emancipate these wicked ideas from the global populace in order to ensure the safety of humanity.  This false prediction will not cause harm to our world, but the underpinning of reason within religious texts will.

The Stars Died So That You Could Be Here Today.

krauss“Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements – the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life – weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.”

― Dr. Lawrence M. Krauss

What say you people?  Does Jesus get credit for dying for our sins or do the stars?

Anthony Weiner & Religiosity… What’s The Difference?

weiner-vs-religion

New Science magazine came out with an interesting article in 2002. It had to do with a person’s uncontrollable urge to look at child pornography*. The condensed version of the events are as follows. A married man, who worked as a schoolteacher had suddenly been gallivanting around the internet, visiting child pornography websites.  His wife found out about his perusal of child pornography and the fact that he had made sexual advances towards children.  He was evicted from the home and was later found guilty of child molestation.  The night of his sentencing, he took himself to the ER, complained of a headache and stated that ‘he was afraid he would rape his landlady.’  Eventually an MRI scan revealed a brain tumor located at his frontal lobe.  The tumor was removed and his urges subsided.  Later, he turned to child pornography again; another MRI scan was done and doctors found that the tumor had grown again.  The subsequent tumor was removed and his urges again subsided.

What’s really interesting about this scenario is that this person did not have control over his own body, due to a change in his brain.  What is the difference between the tumor and a “misfiring brain”?  Maybe nothing.  Maybe some people are predisposed to child pornography or compelled to do things they do not want to do.  I am not condoning any of this behavior.  I am merely thinking out loud and wondering if some people do things that are out of their control, even though they regard these urges as unhealthy and even volatile.

Take Anthony Weiner for example.  I do not need to regurgitate every detail about his lurid misdeeds.  Everyone is aware of the acts this person committed during the last 5 to 8 years.  In 2011, after a sexually explicit picture of himself surfaced on Twitter, he finally admitted that he carried inappropriate relationships (while married) with approximately six women over the course of 3 years, exchanging explicit photos and texts.  His career in tatters; he took a 2-year sabbatical.  In 2013, he returned to politics and entered the mayoral race in New York City.  He was only a few months into the race when news outlets discovered that he was again sending explicit images, this time to a then 22-year-old woman named Sydney Leathers, under the pseudonym “Carlos Danger”.  His run for mayor burst into flames.  One would think that life’s lessons at this point were crystallized in Weiner’s mind but then again, we are not Anthony Weiner.  On August 28, 2016 it was reported that he sexted a 15 year old girl, even submitting the now infamous crotch shot while his toddler son was asleep next to him.  It was later discovered that he shared rape fantasies with this underage girl.  His wife separated days later and he is under criminal investigation.

When a person of Weiner’s stature (no pun intended) continuously commits family and political suicide in front of the entire televised world, one wonders.  Is he in control?  Can a man, fully aware that he has so much to lose willingly decide to self-destruct in public, knowing the consequences?  Can he help himself?  Again, I am not condoning any of his exploits.  I am just trying to understand the minds manacles over an individual.  Is he wired differently?

What about religiosity?  Let us ignore the parasite of religion for now (my upcoming book will discuss this in detail) and lets focus on the mind of the individual itself.  Are religious people wired differently?  It is quite possible!  In an article on HowStuffWorks.com** Andrew Newberg, a doctor at the University of Pennsylvania is asking this very question.  The results are striking and they showed no religious boundaries.  A link to the full article is listed below.  As per the article, “Though the nuns were praying to God, rather than meditating like the monks, they showed increased activity in the frontal lobe as they began focusing their minds. There was also a decrease of activity in the parietal lobe, seemingly indicating that the nuns lost their sense of self in relation to the real world and were able to achieve communion with God.”  This experiment does not show that we are in fact wired to believe in the supernatural but the fact that supernatural nonsense is so prevalent in society today cannot be ignored.  The bible is filled with many tales of people who hear the voice of God in their heads, see visions and think that epilepsy is due to demonic possession. If someone made these claims in our time, they would be committed to a mental institution.  If these claims are written in dusty old texts, they are called prophets.

This brings up an interesting set of questions, which I will leave open for comments.  Since we are all evolved pattern-seeking individuals, are some of us just genetically predisposed to religion?  If we are in fact hardwired for religion, is God merely a figment of our imaginations, a construct borne from our minds?  If religiosity is imprinted onto our minds, is there any hope for a world without religion?  Are we just born this way?

Why Did God Flood The Earth If He Later Allowed The Same Thing To Happen Again?

nephilim-giants

Why did the biblical Nephilim become giants among men?  The consensus is that they are the progeny of a angelic paternal father and a earthly maternal mother. “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days–and also afterward–when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” – Genesis 6:4.  Now, before I proceed with with the dissemination of this mythological garbage, I need to state that I believe in full disclosure so I need to declare that the question above was asked by my wife Elke Lopez.  I was highly intrigued, not by the question, because the question is in itself is philosophical and I abhor philosophy but rather by her sound reasoning behind an argument against this purported gigantism. The usual line of thinking is that since the fallen angels were evil, this mixture of spirit and flesh would create malevolent giants only capable of hate and wanton destruction. Gods only course of action; to kill off the entire human race so that the hate that overtook humanity could never happen again.  He only spared Noah and his family, via an ark that Noah built.  “Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.” – Genesis 7:23. However, my wife, not satisfied with this understanding stated “Why didn’t Jesus become a giant?”  This thinking is very interesting.  The bible shows what happens when spirit matter meets a human ovum.  No one mentioned that Jesus was an unusually large human being, except for the apocryphal Gospel of Peter.  Can hate from a spirit creature affect the growth cycle of a human?  This line of reasoning becomes absurd when understanding  the biology of an animal.  The only way growth would be affected is due to the conflation of the two chromosomal providers, which neither happened to both the progeny of God or the fallen angels.

Lets allow the theist their peace in life by allowing this abomination of celestial and terrestrial creation to occur. Lets forget that gigantism is a characteristic that was observed in the beginning, due to the convolution of flesh and spirit.  Again, it must be stated that God wiped out humanity because it became intrinsically evil with these monstrous leviathans terrorizing the planet. But, if this is the case, why did God allow his angels to again infect humanity with their ethereal sperm, after the flood?  “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). “We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” – Numbers 13:33.  I use the word sperm as a substitution to immaculate conception. The bible never states that they assumed human bodies, contrary to popular belief.  Did God allow for this mythological calamity to befall humans once again, for the second time, after the flood? What was the purpose of the flood?  Did the angels disobey God once again without fear? Did they not know what happened to their fallen brothers?  If God cannot keep his house in order, how can we have “faith” in the belief that he can rectify the supposed hell on earth?  This predicament is a reaffirmation of what we all secretly know God to be.  Not God at all. Immaculate conception was not a concept original to Yahweh. The demons did it first.

I would love to hear your thoughts about this line of thinking.  Please make your voice heard in the comment section below.
